Jennifer & Tom Close out the 2023 Wedding Season at Keswick Vineyards

I am so happy that our 2023 wedding season ended with the marriage of Jennifer and Tom on Saturday, November 11th. I can’t think of a more gracious couple and appreciative guests than we had this evening. When we end each wedding season, we are excited, exhausted yet sad at the same time. We get to know our couples and invest so much personal time, attention, and energy throughout the year to make sure we give 110% and more to each of our weddings. So, you can imagine after 53 weddings, you are tired and ready for some down time but, ending with such a beautiful wedding with such a nice group of people, it’s hard not to want just one more☺ So thank you Jennifer, Tom and all your guests for making us all here at Keswick Vineyards to be excited for our 2024 season to begin in April.

I think it is best to give thanks to Mother Nature for this beautiful day. Jennifer and Tom made sure to do the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon the ensure this beautiful day. Because they didn’t live nearby, they sent Keswick Vineyards their bottle for us to bury for them exactly a month before their wedding day. As you can see, this tradition continues to hold up to its myth.

For their ceremony location, Jennifer and Tom chose to be married off to the side of the fountain having that gorgeous yellow sugar maple tree in the background. And instead of having the fountain on, they chose to adorn the water fountain with florals creating quiet the beautiful vision. As you can see by these photos, fall weddings at Keswick Vineyards are always breathtaking!

During cocktail hour, musicians played while catering passed appetizers to satisfy everyone’s hunger. To keep everyone comfortable, portable heaters were scattered around to add some warmth to the air. Also, to add to the comforts of home, beautiful lounge furniture was on hand for guests to get really comfortable!

Upon entering the tent, guests would find their table number on individually labeled apple butter jars. Just look at how cute these glass bookshelves look adorned with the apple butter jars and apples. The significance of these apples and apple butter jars were of the location in Virginia that they had their first date at. What a wonderful day to encompass their relationship journey.

And let’s just look at this tent! Jaw dropping!!! I’m not sure I need to write anything about it. Sometimes pictures say more than words but do notice the greenery on the front of their bar. I personally really like that look.

What more can I say? 2023 ended with us wanting more! It will be a long 4 months while we wait for April but assure that when it does arrive, we will be just as excited for all our 2024 weddings as our couples and their families are! Thank you to all our 2023 couples for a fantastic and memorable year!
