Fall Is In The Air!

Every year in October, we enter our busiest time of year here at Keswick Vineyards. October is a jammed packed month here at our venue and in today’s blog you will see why! Caitlyn and Mike were married here at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, October 7th, 2022. This was the first weekend where you could really tell fall was in the air. The weather was perfect during the day and got a little chilly one the sun went down but since our tent has heaters, guest remained cozy inside the tent!

This couple selected a few design choices for their wedding that I particularly loved! I love how their guest’s names were on the chargers with a piece of dried fruit. I hadn’t seen this done before but it looked great with their fall florals. I also loved the more 3D look that their welcome sign had that gave it some dimension!

Lastly, lets take a look at the delicious food options they had. I mean who doesn’t love a pasta bar at a wedding! One can never have too much pasta! Also, take a look at the beautiful mini pies they had provided by Sugar on Top!

Making The Most of a Rainy Day!

Emilie and Diego were married at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday October 1st, 2022. This was the weekend Hurricane Ian hit. In the beginning of the week, it looked like it was going to be pouring rain all day but when wedding day came around, the sun come out here and there! Emilie really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and they made that happen!

The color scheme of this wedding was absolutely perfect for fall. i love how the bridesmaids were in olive green and dust orange but then the sisters were in gold. I though this was really unique and beautiful. Just look how stunning this bridal party looks!

They also had a very unique photo booth set up provided by Marigold. This was a great way to still have a photo booth area for guest entertainment but not take away from valuable space under the tent! Look how cute this photo booth is.

Lastly, one of my favorite parts of this wedding was how they rented furniture from Paisley & Jade to incorporate their wedding colors under the tent. This also provided a nice relaxing seating area for their guests! Also, look at the incredible chandeliers provided by Blue Ridge Lighting.

Hurricane Ian Has Nothing On Ocia & Otis!

Ocia and Otis were married at Keswick Vineyards on September 30th, 2022. The week of their wedding was filled with constantly checking the radar to see how Hurricane Ian was going to hit the Keswick area. Luckily here at Keswick Vineyards we have a perfect rain plan option that still allows our couples to have a beautiful wedding regardless of the weather!

Ocia and Otis weren’t going to let the rain ruin their special day. They remained positive the entire day and were ready to say their “I Do’s.” As you can see, the tent is still extremely beautiful when used as a rain plan! Their guests remained dry and warm all night under the tent! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple to deal with the challenge of a hurricane on their wedding week. They were determined to have their perfect wedding regardless of what was happening outside and that is exactly what they did!

Pennsylvania Cookie Bar

Alison & Rob, who were married at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, September 24th, had the weather every couple dream of. Who do you think they have to thank??? Yep, you guessed it. Alison & Rob buried their bottle of bourbon exactly one month before their wedding date and was guaranteed that the weather Gods would take care of them. This tradition is still, 100% effective for our couples at Keswick Vineyards. Lets keep that track record going!

I love the idea of Alison & Rob’s guest book. They chose to have several bottles of wine, each representing an anniversary. Guests would use a metallic marker to sign a bottle. What a wonderful way to reflect on your wedding day on that anniversary as you open a bottle of wine from your wedding day. Also take a look at the lovely memorial table they did for loved ones who couldn’t be there on wedding day. This was such a special thing for guests to be able to look at on the way into the ceremony.

The biggest hit of Alison & Rob’s wedding had to be the Pittsburg cookie bar. We have had many cookie bars from our Pennsylvania couples, but I have never had one with 6000 cookies!!! Nope, that isn’t a typo, 6000! Rob’s Mother, Jamie, started back in June making 80% of these cookies. As part of my job I, I just had to try one or two (or more) They were AMAZING!!!! And on top of all those cookies, guests also could have some wedding cake! Glucose overload for everyone this evening but so worth it!
