A Welcoming Event for Stephanie & Nick

Stephanie and Nick's eagerly anticipated wedding weekend kicked off with a splendid welcome party at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, June 16, 2023. As the majority of their guests hailed from out of state, the couple decided to host a grand celebration the night before their wedding to greet everyone and set the stage for a joyous weekend. Keswick Vineyards, nestled amidst sprawling vineyards and the charming Edgewood Estate, provided the perfect backdrop for this memorable event.

The couple's impeccable planning was evident as the outdoor lawn space surrounding the estate was transformed into a picturesque setting. The tent area, adorned with vibrant linens in hues of blue, green, and yellow, exuded an inviting and festive atmosphere. The captivating ambiance effortlessly complemented the beauty of the vineyards, creating a mesmerizing sight for all in attendance.

To ensure their guests were well-fed and satisfied, Stephanie and Nick enlisted the services of Exchange Event, who left no stone unturned in delivering a delectable feast. Mouthwatering aromas wafted through the air as the tantalizing scent of barbecue filled the venue. Guests indulged in an array of sumptuous dishes, including succulent hamburgers and crispy fried pickles, leaving their taste buds thoroughly delighted.

As the sun began to set over the vineyards, a delightful surprise awaited the guests at Stephanie and Nick's welcome party. Celebrating Love and Heritage: Duru and Jonny's Magical Wedding at Keswick Vineyards

Love knows no boundaries, and at Keswick Vineyards, we had the pleasure of witnessing the beautiful union of Duru and Jonny. On a picturesque Sunday, June 11th, this extraordinary couple exchanged vows in the enchanting backdrop of our vineyard just outside Charlottesville, VA. After a remarkable 7-year journey together, Duru and Jonny embarked on their lifelong adventure as husband and wife.

To ensure the comfort of their beloved guests, Duru and Jonny chose one of our delightful "shade" locations. The venue provided a serene atmosphere, keeping everyone cool and content throughout the joyful celebration. But what truly made this wedding exceptional was the infusion of the Duru's Turkish heritage into their special day.

As the ceremony unfolded, the air filled with warmth and sentiment. The bride’s uncle, with deep reverence, recited a heartfelt poem in Turkish, immersing everyone in the rich culture and traditions of Duru's roots. Instead of traditional petal-throwing, guests playfully tossed tiny "evil eye" beads, symbolizing protection and good luck, a charming nod to Turkish customs.

The magic continued into the evening as the sun set and the festivities moved indoors. Keswick Vineyards came alive with vibrant music and dance, showcasing the exuberance of different cultures merging in celebration. Guests wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to revel in the joyous rhythm and create unforgettable memories on the dance floor.

A sumptuous plated dinner awaited the guests, offering an array of delectable options, including tender beef, succulent chicken, and enticing vegetarian dishes. The culinary delights delighted the palates of all attendees, ensuring a memorable dining experience that complemented the joyous occasion.

No celebration is complete without a touch of sweetness, and Duru and Jonny ensured their guests were treated to a delectable dessert spread. A magnificent three-tier wedding cake stood proudly, adorned with delicate details that reflected the couple's unique style. Complementing the cake were an assortment of cupcakes, inviting everyone to indulge in a delightful assortment of flavors.

For the reception, Duru and Jonny made a subtle yet stunning change. The fruit wood Chiavari chairs were elegantly replaced with exquisite gold ones, transforming the ambiance of the tent dramatically. The new chairs added a touch of opulence and sophistication, elevating the visual aesthetics of the venue and creating an even more enchanting setting.

As the night drew to a close, filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments, Duru and Jonny's wedding at Keswick Vineyards stood as a testament to the power of love and the beauty of embracing different cultures. With perfect weather gracing their special day, it was evident that the couple's decision to follow the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon one month before the wedding had paid off. As the radiant couple and their wedding party toasted to their love with a sip from the buried bourbon, the enchanting vineyard and majestic mountains served as a breathtaking backdrop for their ceremony.

Nestled in front of the Estate, Lyric and Cory took their vows against a stunning floral arch that framed their altar. The blooms intertwined with delicate greenery created a captivating setting that perfectly captured the couple's love and the natural beauty of the surroundings. As they exchanged their heartfelt promises, it was clear that their love was as timeless and enduring as the vineyards that surrounded them.

Stepping into the reception tent, guests were greeted by a mesmerizing sight. Above the dance floor and head table, rattan bird cage-like lighting fixtures adorned with lush greenery cast a warm and romantic glow. This unique addition brought a touch of whimsy and a garden-like ambiance to the celebration, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for guests to revel in the joyous occasion.

To keep the festivities going, Lyric and Cory surprised their guests with a late-night snack from Chick-fil-A, adding a delightful twist to the traditional wedding cuisine. The delectable treats provided a burst of energy and a savory conclusion to the evening's festivities.

As the night drew to a close, the couple bid farewell to their loved ones in grand style. A grand sparkler departure was organized, casting a shower of light and enchantment as Lyric and Cory embarked on their journey as a married couple. It was a fitting end to a magical day that celebrated their love, surrounded by the warmth of family, friends, and the breathtaking Keswick Vineyards.
