A Fusion of Colors
When Keisha & Matt’s wedding guests arrived at Keswick Vineyards to witness their marriage on Saturday, May 11th, they were immediately greeted by some amazing florals. I love their welcome sign! Simple, yet eye popping!
Once passing their welcome area, guests immediately were awed by their ceremony location situated right up against the Viognier vineyard. Encircling the couple at their altar was a metal circle embossed with florals. And let’s not forget the aisle lined with some of the most vibrant and beautiful florals I have seen. Speaking of vibrant colors, I just love how Keisha’s bridesmaids each wore a different color of gown.
Mother Nature was making things a little difficult. Rain was all around us forcing many to have their outdoor ceremonies inside. Keisha & Matt had no problem with a little mist and still did their ceremony outside with umbrellas on hand for anyone who may have needed it. Thankfully, Mother Nature changed her mood and provided some sunshine to delight everyone!
The theme of florals continued right into the reception tent that had greenery hanging from the bistro lights above making a fairy tale impression to all. Once again, more vibrant florals were used as centerpieces. Even their wedding cake had some florals.
Florals can be expensive, so I just love how Keisha and Matt were able to repurpose their circular ceremony floral arch. Look how lovely it looks behind their sweetheart table.
As the evening continued, so did the celebration while everyone danced the night away under the glow of the tent.

Nature Provided the Color for this Wedding!
Congratulations are in order for Stephanie and Ian, who were married at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, May 10th, 2024!
As the proud owner, Cindy rarely misses a single wedding hosted at her venue, having personally overseen over 600 joyful celebrations. However, on this particular occasion, an exception was made as her daughter's college graduation coincided with the wedding day festivities. Cindy’s absence wasn’t the only rare occurrence on Stephanie and Ian's special day; everyone was in for an extraordinary surprise as Mother Nature unveiled not one, but two breathtaking natural phenomena during their wedding reception.
Soon after the couple’s grand entrance into the reception tent, the persistent cloudy skies finally cleared, and a rainbow appeared in the sky over the vineyard. As you can imagine, everyone had to go outside for photos!
Once the reception was well underway, the Northern Lights graced the skies! Not only were they beautiful, especially with the silhouette of the mountains, vineyard, and fountain in the foreground, but they’re also very rarely seen in Virginia!
Stephanie and Ian’s wedding day was nothing short of once-in-a-lifetime, so say the least. From their stunning black and white decor, to the pop of color provided by Mother Nature, this couple’s day could not have been more perfect. Thank you to their wonderful vendors who helped make it all happen!

Derby Day!!!
Most couples that got married on Saturday, May 4th, had to go with their rain plan BUT, not at Keswick Vineyards! Jessica and Colin were still able to have their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour as they originally planned thanks to that special bottle of bourbon and their incredible vendor team that did everything to make it happen for them!
What’s so nice on these cloudy, overcast days, is that you can go anywhere for photos and not have to worry about shadows or bright spots from the sun. Just look at how beautiful the lighting was for Jessica and Colin’s photos. Even with an overcast day, the tent shined with brightness because of the tent top allowing sun rays to go through it lighting up everything below. You would never know that it was a cloudy day, would you?
What else was special with their wedding date? It was also the day for the Kentucky derby! Every year, guests pile into our “man’s cave” to watch on tv the race while yelling and cheering on their favorite horse for about 3 minutes☺ Never gets old and what a finish!
Once guests found their seat, they enjoyed a pre-set salad followed by a plated meal. Later, cake was cut, and the dance floor opened followed by late night snacks of glazed donuts with vanilla ice cream, bite size chocolate chip pecan pie bites and grill cheese sandwiches. Almost forgot the espresso martinis!!!! So good!!!
Hats off to this incredible vendor team that worked so hard around the rain to make this dream wedding happen for Jessica and Colin: Wedding Planner Day by Fay – Sarah Fay Waller, Harvest Moon Catering, DJ Derek Tobler, Photographer Ray RisCassi of Ray Photography, Videographer Joshua Hall of White Flair Productions, Florist Gregory Britt Design, Radiant Reflection for hair & makeup, Cake Bloom, Easy Rider Buses and MS Events for rentals.
A Floral Paradise

It was obvious for Lizzie & Michael’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, April 27th, that our bride LOVES flowers!!!! That might be an understatement as you look at these photos. There are so many of my favorite things I have blogged about before in this wedding so let’s begin.
First, their welcome table. I just love this newspaper program versus the traditional type. Being able to see photos and read about how they met, more information on their wedding party, etc. Most people don’t know anything about the wedding party, so it is nice to read that the Maid of Honor has been a friend since grade school and stuff like that. I also like the cute little word search on the back. ☺

Their ceremony location had guests facing Edgewood Estate. Florals were placed inside the fountain as well as along the aisle. In this ceremony location, we can “hide” our bride and her father, so they make their entrance from the vineyard behind the guests while the rest of the wedding party came from the front. It is always just a nice, little surprise for the guests and gives our bride this long, grand entrance.
After the ceremony guests made their way to cocktail hour in the East lawn of Edgewood Estate. Another one of my favorite things was there. I just love having this phone that people can leave a personal voice message for the couple. Lizzie and Michael took it up a notch and had their phone in a miniature phone booth on a table! And yes, adorned with flowers.

Also in the cocktail lawn area was a flower cart. Yes, a flower cart full of so many different types of bouquets. Inside the bouquets were the table assignments. I’ve never seen this, and it was just so cute!
When it was time to enter the tent, guests were greeted with a floral arch entrance framing the reception tent. Hanging above the dance floor was a very large floral arrangement that just looked spectacular as the couple danced under it. Just look at all the little details at each table. I got the feel of Beauty and the Beast from flowers under a glass dome to dragonfly napkin rings draped across the plate with menu cards. Just look at the arrangement of floral and multi-color candle sticks on each table. I think it was very obvious to all the love these two had for flowers.

The food was amazing from passed appetizers to a delicious cake. And then for a late-night snack, French fries! And did I mention our bride wore 3 different dresses???? There was just so much to this wedding that I could write about it forever, but I think you get the point by now. This wedding really was about all these little details that I hope each of their guests noticed and appreciated. I know I did!
